Joylane Bartron, lPC

In my work, I approach people with compassion, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to help them discover insight about the past, comfort in the present, and renewed hope for the future. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to holistically explore your strengths, struggles, relationships, and faith.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from the Graduate School of Counseling at Missio Seminary in Philadelphia and have completed post-graduate training in child development and early life trauma through the Dr. Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University.

I am a Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist. IFS is designed to help us find peace with the many varied parts of our minds and souls, and to clear the way for us to connect with our truest sense of who we are.

Prior to my professional clinical training, I completed a comprehensive course of study in biblical counseling through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).

I particularly enjoy helping people explore their past and current struggles in light of their Christian faith - whether that faith is currently robust and life-giving or whether that faith has become a source of pain and confusion. I frequently work with - and enjoy working with - survivors of spiritual trauma within the Christian community.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

In-person appointments are at my office on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Telehealth appointments are conducted online for residents of DC, VA, MD, and PA.

Mary Ruth, LCPC

I enjoy working with clients to guide them in being curious about their stories, and together we learn how these stories shape life in the present day.

Through compassion and empathy, I create a supportive environment where people can explore their joys and laments and move their hearts and minds towards healing.

I often work with clients on the topics of grief and loss, anxiety, childhood wounds, spiritual growth, depression, relationships, and parenting.

I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Trinity (Washington) University, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Colorado College.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland.

Telehealth sessions are available for residents of Maryland.

Ivet Euhus, Intern

I enjoy creating a safe place where people can discover the root cause of issues that are causing stress in their lives and can help implement a holistic approach to treatment.

I am passionate about healthy lifestyles and creative problem-solving. My experience as a yoga teacher enables me to be a supportive guide towards connecting people with the wisdom of their body.

I have a global mindset and enjoy working with a variety of individuals with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, social isolation, and military personnel and family members.

I am trained in the SYMBIS model of premarital counseling and am training in trauma-informed models of therapy such as IFS. I also can offer career development counseling using CBT.

I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and work under the supervision of Joylane Bartron, LPC.

In person appointments are available on Capitol Hill, and telehealth appointments are available for residents of DC.
